TTG Modular Standing / Hanging Paint Rack – 32 to 43 Paints (v1)

We highly recommend assembling the outer frame of the rack with no glue first, just to get a feel for how all the pieces fit together and then glue them together once you’re familiar with the process.

Once you are ready to glue, a standard white wood-glue is best for gluing as it gives you more time to fit all the pieces together as compared to using crazy glue. After gluing pieces together you can use masking tape to hold things together tightly while the glue dries.

Step 1 – Attach the top and bottom parts of the rack to the back of the rack as shown above. The top piece has a few extra notches at the back, and the back piece of the rack has two round screw holes at the top.
Step 2 – Lay the rack on it’s side and attach the left and right sides. Please note the top / bottom orientation of the two sides as shown above.
Step 3 – Next turn turn the rack back up to it’s normal standing position and insert the three shelves as shown above.
Step 4 – next attach the inner top cross-brace. If you already glued the sides, you can insert one end of the cross brace into the side-slot and then bend the brace in the middle to fit in into the slot on the other side.
Step 5 – Next attach the second top cross brace. If you haven’t glued the rack together yet, this would be a good time to go back and glue all the pieces together – except for the feet.

Step 6 – If you are attaching the rack to the wall, you don’t need to add the bottom feet. If you want a standing rack then glue the two sets of feet together as shown above and slide them on each side. You don’t have to glue the feet to the rack if you ever want to use the rack as a well mounted rack.
Congratulations! You now have a fully assembled rack!
