Blood Angels Battleforce Unboxing

August 13, 2011 by Paul Leave a Comment

In this video I do an unboxing of the Blood Angels Battleforce from Games Workshop.

This battleforce set comes with:

  • Space Marine Tactical Squad (10 models)
  • Space Marine Assault Squad (5 models)
  • Blood Angels Death Company (5 models)
  • Space Marine Rhino

The battleforce comes with a lot of extra Blood Angel’s bits to make the space marines look like Blood Angels. There are some shoulder pads, jetpacks, guns, and power weapons with Blood Angels markings in the set.

This video was originally recorded earlier this year and posted on my personal Blog. I am re-posting it here because I moved the video to my new YouTube channel.

Blood Angels Furioso Dreadnaught Unboxing

August 13, 2011 by Paul Leave a Comment

In this video I do an unboxing of the Blood Angels Furioso Dreadnaught from Games Workshop.

This box gives you the option to build one of these three Dreadnaughts:

  • Furioso Dreadnaught
  • Death Company Dreadnaught
  • Furioso Librarian

I shot this video in February and originally posted it on my personal Blog. I’m re-posting it here now because I have moved the video to my new YouTube channel to keep everything nicely organized.

Warmachine Khador Battlegroup Unboxing

August 13, 2011 by Paul Leave a Comment

Last week, while visiting a local hobby store to pickup some white paint primer with my brother, we saw a shelf of Privateer Press Warmachines.

We used to shop for our miniature stuff at a Games Workshop store which obviously only had GW stuff so we’ve never actually seen any miniatures from other companies.

I heard some good things about Privateer Press online recently so we decided to check the Warmachine stuff out more closely.

We ended up having a chat with the store owner and he gave us a basic explanation of the differences between Warhammer 40k and Warmachine.

Prior to that I was a bit skeptical about getting into another line of miniatures since I love my GW stuff, but after he explained the differences to us I really wanted to try out Warmachine.

Some of the benefits about Warmachine that he pointed out is that it’s easier and less expensive to get into Warmachine since a typical battlegroup box costs around $50 as opposed to a typical WH40k battlebox costing about double that.

Of course with Warhammer 40k, you’re getting a lot more miniatures for that price, but in terms of being able to play the game Warmachine has a lower entry point.

The idea that Warmachine is easier to get started with and that it’s more of a skirmish type game versus Warhammer 40k being more larger scale appealed to me very much. That’s not to say that I don’t want to play more larger scale Warhammer 40k style games – it’s just that I want both! 🙂

With a battlegroup costing only about $50 to get started, I figured why not give it a try. So a couple days later, after doing a bit of initial research as to which army I wanted to build, I went back and picked up a Khador Battlegroup.

In this video I do an unboxing of the set. Once I get it built and painted, I’m going to try playing the game to see if I like it. If I do, I’ll probably collect a much bigger army of Khador models.

– See more at:

Are you a Khador player as well? I’d love to hear your comments on the army and how you’re enjoying playing them.

Or are you trying to decide which army to build?

If so, which other armies are you looking at?

Assault on Black Reach Ork Army Paint Updates

August 13, 2011 by Paul Leave a Comment

In these two videos I do an update on my progress for finishing the Assault on Black Reach Ork Army.

When I shot these two videos a few months ago, I had just completed painting the Ork army and I was really excited because it meant I could get started on my Blood Angels army as well.

The videos were shot a few months ago and posted on my personal Blog. I am re-posting them now as I have moved the video to my new YouTube channel and I want to keep everything organized on here.

Blood Angels Stormraven Gunship Unboxing

August 13, 2011 by Paul Leave a Comment

In this video I do an unboxing video of the Stormaven Gunship which recently came out.

The box comes with some nice Blood Angels markers to make the Gunship a Blood Angels Gunship. I shot this video a few months back and originally posted it on my personal Blog.

I am re-posting this video because I moved it to my new YouTube channel and so that all my Warhammer content is on this site.
