We highly recommend assembling the rack with no glue first, just to get a feel for how all the pieces fit together and then glue them together once you’re familiar with the process.

A standard white wood-glue is best for gluing as it gives you more time to fit all the pieces together as compared to using crazy glue. After gluing pieces together you can use masking tape to hold things together tightly while the glue dries.

Step 1 – Insert the six brush holders into the two flat pieces shown above.
Step 2 – Insert the four horizontal pieces shown above into the large back-plate piece shown on the right (above). It may be easiest to lay the large piece flat on your table and then place the four horizontal pieces into their respective slots.
Step 3 – Next insert the two side pieces, aligning all the tabs and slots carefully one side at a time. Please note the orientation of the side parts and ensure that the four tabs are on the bottom.
Step 4 – Finally add the base piece to the bottom of the rack. It might be easier to place the entire rack upside down and add the bottom piece from above and then turn it back over.

At this point you have the main part of the rack assembled without glue. It would now be a good time to take the pieces apart, add glue and re-assemble the rack. I highly recommend using some masking tape to hold the outer edges together while the glue dries. That way you’ll get a snug fit without any gaps.
Step 5 – Assemble the drawers from the pieces shown above. Glue the parts together and use a few small pieces of masking tape on the corners and edges to create a tight fit while the glue dries.
Step 6 – Add the optional inner drawer separators as shown above and as needed. Do not glue these. Once the glue is fully dry on all the components, you can remove the masking tape pieces and slide the drawers inside the unit. Congratulations, you’re done!

*** Please note that the sides and bottom of the unit has pre-cut magnet holes for optional magnets that can be added in to hold multiple racks together.
